Another post of the Maggot Queen for the sake of the old turntable being lackluster.

Jericho chubby sculpt?
Taking a pixel art proportioned character and making him a 3D model... Probably won't end well, but why not try.

Robot work in progress
So I switched it up. The plan to do armor just wasn't working for me. Everything I did, I hated. I figured doing a robot would be more fun and have a quicker payoff!
Obviously, this is a work in progress, subject to change, and going for a bulky Mega Man boss look. Just in Maya right now, but will be in ZBrush soon!

Final Caveman turntable
The caveman is complete! I had a lot of fun with this guy. He looks angry, but he's probably just hungry.

Retopologizing Craveman!
Using NexTools to retop the caveman. Retopologizing allows high poly meshes to be baked at a lower poly mesh for use in game engines and other programs that have tri limitations.
Also, quads are easier to use in animation and proper geometry is crucial. Triangles are just not gonna cut it!

Polygroups.
Masking and grouping poly groups helps to edit and sculpt certain areas without messing up previously worked on areas. Adding edge loops helps separate them as well and makes them easier to make hard edges for armor and other hard stuff.

Cavemaaaaaan!!
The final caveman sculpt! I had a lot of fun with this. Unfortunately, he had to lose the white tube socks. Bummer. But! Maybe someday he will be retopped and ready to animate! Could be a fun project.

Hobbit head sculpt... that is horrible.
It's horrible. It was a quick sculpt. And by quick I mean I was using reference and sucking it up hard.

Chris "Craveman" Holton
Totally deviated from my previous ideas and decided to see how my dad would look in CreatureBox style in ZBrush as a caveman!

Tribal ideas.
Concepts for the tribal character sculpt. I had CreatureBox as inspiration for the design style, so I stuck with a short body, big arms and small legs. It's fun thinking outside of your comfort zone! Thinking about using the spear guy as the sculpt. I just really liked his pose, I don't know why else I would do it. Maybe it's a horrible idea... I dunno. Maybe I'll use a combination of these guys, like the head on the spear guy. Or the spear guy with the ape like dude's proportions. BAH! We'll see!

The Maggot Queen sees all.
Made some pupils and various weird little things to bring the Maggot Queen to life. As my first project, I'm going to call it a day, the more I do, the more I don't like her. So this is it. The Maggot Queen.
